Bradburn Memorial Park
|
Port Church maintains Bradburn Memorial Park in Port Republic to be used and enjoyed by the community. With frontage on the South River near its junction with the North River, it is a beautiful spot to take a stroll while listening to the waters rushing rapidly by. The park is open from dawn until dusk.

Location
Bradburn Park is in the village of Port Republic across Water Street from the church. Parking is available at the park.
From Grottoes/US-340, turn left from Port Republic Road onto Water Street. From Harrisonburg on Port Republic Road, turn right onto Water Street. The park is on the left. |
Picnics, Walks, and More
Bradburn Park includes a picnic pavilion with tables, electricity, and a grill. There is a platform we use for worship services near the water's edge. There are benches and prayer stations along the trail that runs through the park and a wooden bridge across a run that crosses the trail.
Reservations
We are glad for people to make use of this beautiful spot in God's creation. It is a great place for weddings, parties, reunions, and outdoor worship. Several schools have made use of the wooded environment, easy river access, historical location, and proximity to the Port Republic Museum as the basis for science and social studies field trips.
