PRRC is confessionally grounded in our Statement of Faith and our Statement of Doctrine. The Statement of Faith is a shorter document which all members must unreservedly affirm. The Statement of Doctrine is a longer expansion of the Statement of Faith and includes doctrinal standards not addressed in our Statement of Faith. Members of PRRC are required to express their substantial agreement with the Statement of Doctrine and to acknowledge that this document guides the teaching of our church leaders.

A summary of our beliefs:

• WE BELIEVE that there is one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Moses, who is eternally existent in Three Persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is Creator of all things visible and invisible.
• WE BELIEVE that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died, and buried, and that He arose on the third day and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty until His return.
• WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son. He is God’s presence at work in the world, church, and individual.
• WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life.
• WE BELIEVE that salvation is God’s gift to humanity. Anyone who turns away from sin, believes in and receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, is forgiven, made new and assured of eternal life.
• WE BELIEVE that mankind was created in the image of God; both male and female.
• WE BELIEVE that marriage is a sacred covenant relationship of one man and one woman. 
• WE BELIEVE that God ordained, through His Son Jesus Christ, two Sacraments: Baptism and Holy Communion.
